Update on the Black Swan Capital team
Our clients speak with some of us but rarely with all of us. As our team continues to grow, we have collated a brief summary of the team at Black Swan Capital.
Here we are:
Bene Zurlo– Bene is a Relationship Manager and often the first Black Swan Capital person people speak with when contacting us. Bene is Italian and studied at the University of Amsterdam completing his Bachelor of Economics, Psychology, Law and Politics. He is completing his Master of Business Administration there currently. Away from work Bene has a passion for food and likes playing chess, writing and performing stand-up comedy.
David Bellingham– David is the CEO and a founding director of Black Swan Capital. He spends his time working with clients as well as running the business managing everything from finance to compliance. David is Australian, has lived in 6 countries, so understands well the issues our international clients face, and calls the Netherlands home. When not working he likes to spend time with his family, good books, bike rides along the Dutch coast, spending mornings being healthy and afternoons (Covid dependent) at a sunny terrace.
Edward Mainwaring-Burton– Ed is our Managing Director and client adviser. He works with, manages, and develops our staff, as well as looking after clients. He has international experience across four countries and has lived the expat experience to know what it’s like for our clients. In his spare time he enjoys motor sport, stand-up comedy, and as a qualified sommelier, discovering good restaurants with interesting food and wine.
James Hughes is the Chairman and focuses his energy on corporate structure, corporate governance and creating a smooth and hassle free environment for everyone to work in. He lives outside of London, is an Economics graduate from Cambridge University and in his spare time is into endurance sports preferably finishing at a country pub.
Suzanne Said – Sue is the newest member of our team. Sue is a Relationship Manager and some of you may have already met her in review meetings. Sue brings a high level of professionalism and expertise and has a Bachelor of Mathematics and Banking and Science and a Masters in Accounting and Financial Management. She is passionate about ESG- sustainable investing- and outside of work is a recent convert to running, loves spending time with her family, discovering the Netherlands and visiting her home country Malta whenever she can.
